I guess the adage is true, you get what you pay for. I just installed one of these fixtures and was underwhelmed by the low quality. The fixture base is so flimsy that when you mount it to the ceiling is easily distorts it's shape and as a result the cover and retaining ring can barely be mounted to it. I bought two so I won't even try to install the second one. The light itself attaches to the base with magnets. They are not sufficient to keep it in place.
